Under the patronage of the president of LIU his excellency Mr. Abdul Rahim Mourad in collaboration with the “Takween” Association, the Fine Arts and Design Department at the Lebanese International University hosted Art Week 2018.
Art Week 2018 Exhibition included the work of 62 local and international artists in addition to various art activities and lectures. The Lebanese International Univeristy events club participation included live concerts, dance and theatre performances.
Art Week 2018 also included lectures such as:
“I brush my thoughts… Do you?” Lecture by Artist Dalal Farah. “The Incoherents: 1882-1893 the missing page in the history of modern arts” Lecture by Dr. Hussein Hussein.
Two major workshops took place during the Art Week 2018; “Wax Technique in Modeling Sculpture” by Mr. George Wakim and “Drawing of Archeological Finds” by Ms. Amal Bohsali.
